About Embassy Suites by Hilton Grand Rapids Downtown
The newest Embassy Suites is located at 710 Monroe, near the 6th Street Bridge. The seven-story hotel has 250 rooms and 440 parking spaces. It also features a Big E’s Sports Grill on the first floor and a large banquet facility. Construction on the hotel began in the Spring of 2017. Suburban Inns (who owns and manages the property) partnered with Pioneer Construction and the project was recently completed.

“Pioneer is pleased to be part of the team that Suburban Inns assembled to build this landmark project for Grand Rapids,” said Tim Schowalter, President of Pioneer Construction. “We especially appreciate their emphasis on quality and safety, and how well they value our people on the job. With the topping out of the project, we’re entering the home stretch and it has come together really well.”

“This project has taken a long time to get to this point, but we wanted to get things right from a construction and community standpoint and we’re delighted to get to this milestone stage,” said Peter D. Beukema, CEO and Visionary of Suburban Inns. “A hotel is often a person’s first impression of our city and this hotel will be something we can all be proud of.”
